Dr. Smoak is a psychiatrist with 15 years of clinical experience. He is academically affiliated with the NYU Grossman School of Medicine, where he holds the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor. Education & Credentials
Dr. Smoak graduated cum laude with a B.A. in Classical Languages from Davidson College in 1999. He received his MD from Wake Forest University School of Medicine in 2003. Dr. Smoak subsequently completed his residency in general adult psychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania in 2007. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and has been board certified in psychiatry since 2009. Dr. Smoak holds active medical licenses in NY, WY, and NC.

At present, the practice does not participate in managed care plans. We will provide you with a statement to submit for out of network reimbursement. We do accept HSA/FSA, Zelle/Venmo, and all major credit cards.
